Schedule Changes Due to COVID-19
Announcement from Preacher Jason
After some prayerful and careful deliberation we have reconsidered our stance on our service schedule during this time. I have come to believe that the faithfulness of some of our most vulnerable folks would cause them to be put at risk if we conduct our normal services. Having the best interest of the Lord’s flock at heart we have decided to follow the recommendation of government leaders and cancel public services. We will reevaluate the schedule on a service by service basis. We start with the cancellation of tonight’s prayer meeting and Bible studies. We will also explore our options for a virtual alternative for future services if we must cancel.
While we may not get to gather physically we certainly can still unite in prayer for each other, our community, our leaders and all who are threatened or hurt by this virus.
It is still important to not surrender to fear but by faith continue with complete understanding that our Lord is with us wherever and in whatever state we find ourselves.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee;
yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Remember the words of the apostle Paul
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
We are not afraid to live in these trying times nor are we even afraid to die because we will have Jesus either way.
God bless you and keep you during this time
