About
On September 27, 2024, our community experienced the heartbreaking effects of Hurricane Helene. Many residents and those in nearby areas lost their homes and vital resources. The storm caused extensive power outages, disrupted water access, triggered mud, and led to significant road closures, among other life-changing difficulties. Tragically, the disaster also resulted in a considerable loss of life.
Months after Hurricane Helene, numerous individuals remain homeless, lacking basic household essentials and employment. Landmark is committed to assisting the people of Swannanoa in replacing the essential home goods lost during Hurricane Helene.
Mission
Our church is committed to supporting the community and addressing these pressing needs. We created an application, found below, for those in need to request assistance in replacing important home items. The road to recovery remains long, but we are dedicated to providing essential support to our community.
